Hannover – With GESAcargo, Gestellpool Europe now also offers its members a simple and efficient way to record racks with little technical effort when working with freight forwarders.
Racks can be easily recorded on delivery and collection without additional devices or special software, which makes working with different carriers and systems much easier..
Many companies in the glass and window industry work with shipping companies to deliver and collect frames.
This often makes things more complicated: unlike the company’s own drivers, not all freight forwarding drivers can be equipped with company-owned hardware such as scanners to record the delivery and collection of the racks. In the past, this has led to delays and errors.
As a leading provider of rack management solutions, Gestellpool Europe is now revolutionizing these processes. “GESAcargo is fully integrated into the existing GESAweb system and offers our members’ freight forwarders a flexible solution that requires neither special hardware nor an additional app. This solution makes the transport process for racks much easier and is available immediately,” says Managing Director Felix Spangenberg.
All that is needed to use the new solution is an order and the automatically generated QR code from the rack pool member’s rack pool system and a smartphone.
Thanks to the direct system integration, all rack movements are immediately recorded in GESAweb and can therefore be tracked directly by the members. This digitalized process saves valuable time and reduces potential sources of error. GESAcargo was developed in close cooperation with the members of the rack pool and is available to members and their haulage companies free of charge as an extension to the existing system.
